An ICB screen block retaining wall was proposed to support the realignment of the main trunk railway line, adjacent to State Highway 1.
The wall was up to 3m high and required a tie back design, which was undertaken by KGA. Wall design had to take into account of the vibrations caused by train movements as well as the proximity of fibre optic cables. Throughout the construction phase, KGA undertook site inspections and provided final certification for the wall.
