In 1990, Keith Gillespie & Associates Limited (now KGA Geotechnical) was born from very humble and kiwi origins: a small office above a fish and chip shop in Browns Bay. We quickly became well-known in the industry for providing practical specialist geotechnical engineering consultancy services to the wider Auckland area.
In 2012, our Christchurch-based office was primarily formed to provide support to the Christchurch community as part of the post-earthquake rebuild. We have maintained a strong and capable presence in the Christchurch and South Island areas to support ongoing development and continue to build on our local client relationships.
A New Chapter
In 2012 KGA Geotechnical extended its reach to Christchurch, driven by a commitment to support the region’s post-earthquake recovery. The establishment of this office enabled KGA to play a pivotal role in the rebuild, offering expert geotechnical solutions tailored to local needs.
Today, the Christchurch office continues to serve as a hub for South Island projects, fostering strong relationships and community growth.
