Abilio is a Director at KGA, based in the Christchurch office. Abilio joined KGA in early 2013 after gaining significant experience in geotechnical engineering in Portugal. He began his career as a geotechnical engineer at a well-known consultancy and later founded his own company that combined ground investigation capabilities with geotechnical modelling, emphasizing an innovative approach to each project. This philosophy continues at KGA. With over 25 years of experience, he specializes in ground improvement and foundation design.
He has a passion for woodworking that was learned from a young age by assisting his grandfather. With his father he learned about metallurgy as well. There is always a project on the go, that that vary in duration depending on family commitments and gardening tasks.Abilio Nogueira
