Jonathan Shelley

Jonathan moved to New Zealand following the Christchurch Earthquakes in 2011, before joining KGA in 2015. With a background in both structural and geotechnical engineering he has been heavily involved in the Christchurch rebuild, both in terms of geotechnical assessment of residential and commercial properties, and the design of piled foundations for critical infrastructure. Thanks to his experience in this field, Jonathan currently sits on the national panel of experts writing the new NZGS piling specification documents.

When he is not at his desk you may find Jonathan dabbling with woodwork, or playing tennis not quite as well as he’d like.
